Choose 6 contrasting red (or pink) fat quarters, some background and border fabrics and learn how to use the Spider Web ruler to make this adorable table topper. Rulers will be available for purchase at Quilt Haven on Main, or share one from the upstairs sewing area to determine whether you want to purchase. 22.5″ x 53″. Beginning Quiltmaking

This class for the beginner and quilter ‘wanna-be’ will cover every step of making a quilt including cutting, making strip sets, half-square triangles and two ways to make flying geese. And it’s all easier than you think. This class is aimed at the beginning quilter but if you’ve taken a different beginning quilting class, you could still learn a lot from making this quilt. No more fear of triangles! You will finish the quilt top and binding will be taught. An optional session will be offered to show layering techniques and machine quilting basics.

Total of 8 two-hour sessions. You’ll be making Chunky Monkey in your choice of fabrics. Stop into Quilt haven on Main to let us help you pick out fabrics ahead of class. 68″ x 78″. Call us at 320-587-8341 to register.
